COMPARISON OF VARIOUS MODELS OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY AND PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GEORGIAN ECONOMIC LEGISLATION

Summary

The article considers the development of the digital economy in Georgia and its regulatory framework and is also provided a comparative analysis with similar indicators of leading countries. It is emphasized that the three main issues of the development of the digital economy and its normative regulation, on which Georgia needs to form its position, in recent years are monopolization and national IT champions; digital currency and long-term government strategy.
